1. Begin on a Monday morning, after a bath.
2. Rinse the bead in clean water, then in a little raw milk, and wipe it dry with a soft cloth.
3. Hold it in your right palm and set your intention for the relationship or household you want to keep steady.
4. Chant Om Namah eleven times, then put it on.
5. Wear it on a red thread or a fine silver chain so the bead rests near the heart, and take it off before swimming or applying perfume.
6. Re-energise it on a Monday every few months by repeating the same rinse and mantra.
